Family

Dale has been married for 26 years to Melanie, his high school sweetheart.  They have two beautiful daughters, Morgan (22) and Bria (24). Bria blessed Dale and Melanie with their first granddaughter, Sophia (1½).

Community

Dale’s service in the community can be recognized by the work he has done thorough the various organizations he serves.  He has served as board Chair of the Central Ohio March of Dimes, alumni representative to the Columbus State Community College Sport & Exercise Studies (SES) Advisory Board, and several more. Dale’s awards include the Big Brother/Big Sisters, Ohio Chapter 2005 Richardson Award for Outstanding Volunteerism, 2006 CSCC Sport & Exercise Studies Alumni Hall of Fame, one of the 2013 CSCC “50 History Makers,” the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Alpha Rho Lambda Chapter Outstanding Achievement Award, and the 2014 Outstanding Alumnus Award for CSCC SES program.  He is currently a mentor for the SIMBA Mentoring Program, and serves as Vice-Chair for the Volunteer Services Advisory Committee (VSAC) of the Franklin County Children Service

 

Alpha

Dale A. Gresson was initiated into Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc, Alpha Rho Lambda Chapter on March 9, 2002. He has served in Alpha leadership at the local and Regional level.  He enjoys working with all Alpha men, but especially Alpha college men and senior brothers. He believes in building relationships with like-minded men who share in purpose and commitment to the goals of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. 

 

He loves to fellowship and spend quality brotherhood time at social events such as bowling, brotherhood smoke, fishing, and sporting events. Without a doubt Dale knows that Alpha Phi Alpha has changed his life and continues to do so on a daily basis.
